I refer to this table as The Alien Baby Cradle.  It started out with this gorgeous specimen of Brazilian amethyst that needs to be seen in person to be fully appreciated.  I wanted to cradle this massive hunk of stone in a way that was like nothing anyone has seen before.  It took me a year with the amethyst in my possession to come up with this design.  I'm confident that I did pull off the unique factor here.  It's a combination of transmission parts, semi tractor clutch plates, camshafts, and differential gears.  I have not weighed it, but it is insanely heavy. It does disassemble into three different components plus the glass top and each of those components are very heavy on their own.  It's about 36" tall and is topped off with a 30" piece of glass.
